Today some very special visitors arrived! Our wormery was delivered and is all ready to be set up tomorrow we can't wait to feed the worms!!!!!
We are busy making our Someone Like Me art works. We talked about disability and what we can all do to make the world more inclusive for everyone. We will show our ideas through art. Some people are drawing, others are painting and constructing.
Mel has given our class a full set of Harry Potter books for our library. She also gave us three illustrated big books of Harry Potter. We are all very excited to add new books to our library!
Roald Dahl Day!
We visited Carrigaline Library to celebrate Roald Dahl Day. Mary, the librarian was so fantastic! She read aloud some poems and we had a quiz. We also had a scavenger hunt that was so much fun! Lots of our artwork based on Roald Dahl is now on display in the library so please drop in for a visit.
Mel announced over the intercom that 3A and Junior Infants A had the best lines in the school this week!!! We are so happy that our hard work has paid off. We have tried our best to be organised and quiet going to and from the halla and yard and always follow the 5 Golden Rules. As a reward we will have extra time on yard one day next week - fingers crossed for sunny weather!
We are 3rd class A (rang 3A). My name is Catherine and I am delighted to be teaching this class! The children will update the blog regularly to keep you all up-to-date with the exciting things they will be doing this year.
